Aberdeen Braces for Arctic Blast with -15 Wind Chills
Wind chill advisory lasts through Friday.

A wind chill advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Areas affected include Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Montgomery counties plus Baltimore City. Cecil County is under a separate wind chill advisory, as are Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties.

During a wind chill advisory, cold air and strong winds will create low wind chills that could cause frost bite and hypothermia.

- Thursday: Actual temps from mid to upper teens during day with high of 20. Wind chill of -6 degrees. Winds from 15 to 29 mph. Slight chance of afternoon snow showers.
- Friday: Actual temps in mid to upper teens. Wind chills as low as -15.

Safety Tips
- Wear a hat and gloves if going outside.
- Check on elderly neighbors, relatives and friends to be sure they are warm and safe.
- Keep electric space heaters away from flammable objects.
