Au Pair Working In Bethesda Reported Missing On Way To Dulles Airport

BETHESDA, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman who was last seen on Friday, Aug. 26 at about 11:40 a.m.

Fanisa Mthembi, 22, had ordered a ride-share to the airport, but never arrived for her flight leaving from Dulles International Airport in Virginia, police said.

Mthembi, an au pair, was last seen leaving her employer's home in Bethesda. She was wearing a white tunic top, blue jeans, carrying a large white purse and two large pink suitcases.

Police said the department and her family are concerned for her welfare.
