Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Put On Lockdown, No Gun Found: Police
After searching Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, Montgomery County Police found no gun on campus after a report of an armed person.

BETHESDA, MD — Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School was placed on lockdown Wednesday morning after a report of a person with a gun on the high school campus, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
Shortly after 11 a.m., Montgomery County Police said no gun was found on campus after a search of the school. The lockdown at BCC was lifted and students were released at their regular early dismissal time, police said.
Montgomery County Public Schools said school security and emergency management were at the school to investigate the report, according to Bethesda Beat.

Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, located at 4301 East-West Hwy, received a call from a parent of a student who witnessed an argument in a school hallway and thought another student might have a gun, according to Montgomery County Public Schools.
The call came from the parent at 9:55 a.m., and the school began a lockdown about four minutes later, WTOP reported Wednesday.
