Bethesda Film Fest Highlights Local Filmmakers: Buy Tickets
The annual Bethesda Film Fest starts Friday and will feature five short documentaries made by local filmmakers. Here's how to buy tickets.
BETHESDA, MD — The seventh annual Bethesda Film Fest kicks off Friday and will feature five short documentaries made by local filmmakers.
Their work will be screened at Imagination Stage in downtown Bethesda on:
- Friday, April 5 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, April 6 at 6 p.m and 8 p.m.
Each screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers. The same five films will be shown at each screening.

Films selected for the Bethesda Film Fest include:
- Bravery with Grace — Nthanze Kariuki, Gaithersburg, Md.
- Breaking Free — Michael Grundmann, Harrisonburg, Va.
- The Rage of Evil — Carolyn McCulley and David Ehrenberg, Falls Church, Va.
- Through Chinatown's Eyes: April 1968 — Penny Lee and Lisa Mao, Silver Spring, Md.
- Zsudayka's Journey — Lawrence Ray Green, Washington, D.C.
Tickets cost $10 and are available here. All remaining tickets will be sold at the door.
