Building Evacuated After Fire Breaks Out At Car Dealership
A car dealership was temporarily evacuated on Tuesday after a fire broke out in the engine of a 2020 Cadillac Escalade.

BETHESDA, MD — A fire broke out Tuesday at the Jim Coleman Cadillac dealership in Bethesda, officials said.
Details released by the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service noted that first responders were alerted to the dealership at 10400 Auto Park Ave. around 8 a.m.
The fire was traced to the engine compartment of a 2020 Cadillac Escalade that was being kept in a garage on the grounds.

No injuries were reported by officials as the building was evacuated.
MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer said dealership workers had used a combination of a garden hose and six dry chemical fire extinguishers to put the fire out without success.

However, emergency crews were able to extinguish the fire within one minute once they were on scene, he said.
It's unclear what prompted the fire to break out.
