Glen Echo Park Summer Concerts: interPLAY Orchestra

Join us for a FREE concert with interPLAY Orchestra, part of Glen Echo Park’s Thursday-night Summer Concert Series!
The interPLAY Orchestra is a 35-year old nonprofit music organization of adult musicians with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities; playing alongside amateur and professional musicians, and high school and university students known as “Bandaides”. All perform together for the community in year-round concerts at the world-class Music Center at Strathmore. They feature a full orchestra, small ensembles, choral groups and soloists, working with percussion and other traditional instruments, and playing a variety of musical genres.
For more than a decade, summer evenings at Glen Echo Park have come alive with the sounds of our free Summer Concert Series. Each week, we showcase local musicians and performers whose styles and stories reflect the rich cultural diversity of our region—offering something fresh and inspiring for everyone to enjoy.
