One of Kensington's favorite traditions returns on Monday, September 7, with the 59th Annual Labor Day Parade and Festival.
The parade begins at 10:00 am and features marching bands, dance groups, equestrian groups, community organizations, fire trucks, colorful floats, and much more as it travels through the heart of Kensington.
After the parade, enjoy the festival along Armory Avenue with live music, food vendors, local organizations, family activities, a bounce house, and a beer and wine garden. Bring a lawn chair or find a spot along the parade route and enjoy a fun day celebrating community.
The festival runs from 10:00 am–2:00 pm, rain or shine.
Come cheer on your neighbors, support local organizations, and enjoy one of Montgomery County's most beloved community celebrations!
