County to Welcome Pinstripes Bistro, Bowling & Bocce

Pinstripes will hold a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Bethesda on Friday, August 4.

From MOTION PR: Known for its best-in-class blend of made-from-scratch cuisine, fine wines, social bowling and bocce, Pinstripes will open its second D.C. Metro-area location in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose development on Saturday, August 5.

The two-story, 37,000-sq.-ft. showplace will feature 14 well-appointed bowling lanes, 10 indoor/outdoor bocce courts, a bistro serving Italian/American chef’s creations, and a curated wine cellar and craft beer selection. With distinctive décor reflecting a rustic sophistication, Pinstripes Bethesda will offer dynamic event space for groups of 20 to 600, and an expansive outdoor patio, perfect for gathering with family and friends year-round.

“Everything we do creates a welcoming environment where our guests can truly connect with the people who matter most,” said Dale Schwartz, Pinstripes Founder/CEO. “We’re looking forward to celebrating special occasions, and small, everyday moments with our customers, creating meaningful memories for our Montgomery County and surrounding neighbors.”

Pinstripes Bethesda is the eighth location nationally for the quickly-growing dining and entertainment brand. In addition to its Georgetown location, which opened in 2014, Pinstripes has four locations in its hometown Chicago market, as well as locations in Overland Park, Kan., near Kansas City, and Edina, Minn., near Minneapolis. While every Pinstripes offers a distinctive combination of dining and gaming, each layout is tailored to provide a personalized reflection of the local community. Additional openings slated for 2017-18 include Fort Worth, Houston, and Frisco, Texas, Orange Village, Ohio, and San Mateo, California.

“Pike & Rose is quickly becoming the premier destination for entertainment, dining and shopping in Bethesda-Rockville,” said Chris Weilminster, Executive Vice President, of Federal Realty, developer of Pike & Rose. “Adding Pinstripes to the mix reinforces our commitment to bringing the best-of-the-best to Pike & Rose, and providing residents and visitors with top-notch urban amenities in a convenient suburban setting.”
