Debris Rains Down Onto Cars Following Beltway Truck Crash: MCFRS
One person is hurt after a tractor-trailer driver lost control and slammed into the wall of a Beltway overpass, say officials.

BETHESDA, MD — At least one person is injured on Monday after a tractor-trailer driver slammed into a barrier on a Beltway overpass, sending debris onto commuters down below, according to Montgomery County fire officials.
The truck driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear how the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The crash happened where the Outer Loop of I-495 meets I-270 — near Old Georgetown Road and Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda, said fire department spokesman Pete Piringer. The tractor-trailer damaged the barrier, causing debris to rain down on commuters below. Several cars were hit while driving on both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-270.
