Pop Mart To Host Grand Opening In MoCo This Weekend

BETHESDA, MD — A popular toy retailer will host its grand opening this upcoming weekend at the Westfield Montgomery Mall.

Fans of the Pop Mart brand can join in on the opening festivities on Saturday, while the shop is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 101 Democracy Blvd. in Bethesda.

In addition to a ribbon-cutting ceremony, event organizers say the character-based toy shop will have limited-edition items and specialty gifts with a qualifying purchase.

The brand held the soft opening for its new Bethesda storefront in August.

Pop Mart is popularly known for its Labubu figures and "blind box" sales. It first arrived at Montgomery Mall in 2025, with the installation of its vending machine near the dining terrace.

The Pop Mart location is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Residents can find the specialty store on the ground floor of the mall, between Bath and Body Works and Mango.
