December Group Show

Gallery B is pleased to present its third exhibition, featuring local painters Anne Bouhour and Brigitte Zelenko and sculptors Constance Chabrieres and Nathalie Barthes-Pouliquen, who work in paper and bronze, respectively. The exhibit will be on display from December 8, 2011 – January 7, 2012 at Gallery B, located at 7700 Wisconsin
Ave., Suite E, Bethesda, MD. The opening reception will be held on Friday, December 9th from 6-9pm. Gallery hours are Wednesday – Saturday, 12-6pm. 

Anne Bouhour of Bethesda, MD, has always admired color, nature and atmosphere, which led to her passion for painting. Her work is on exhibit at La Maison Française, French Embassy, as well as several private residences.

Nathalie Barthes-Pouliquen of Bethesda, MD, is a self-educated artist inspired by culture, mankind and landscapes. She is both a painter and a sculptor,
working in watercolor, oil, terra cotta and bronze.

Constance Chabrieres of Bethesda, MD, recycles and transforms paper and cardboard into figurative and expressionist sculptures. She has participated in
several gallery exhibitions in France and in the Washington, D.C. area, and her sculptures are featured in private and public collections worldwide.

Brigitte Zelenko of Chevy Chase, MD uses a wide variety of media, including oil, acrylic, tempera and pastel. She studied at the Martenot Art School and at the École du Louvre in Paris, France. Her most recent paintings
have been exhibited at the World Bank, among other public and private institutions.

The Bethesda Urban Partnership and Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District opened Gallery B in October with the support of Bethesda Place Limited Partnership.   Artists and art curators interested in showing their work at Gallery B in 2012 should visit www.bethesda.org for more information and the application for consideration.
