"Defending Terrorists"


On April 1, at 10:25 am, Kenneth P. Troccoli will discuss "Defending Terrorists" at River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Bethesda, Md. Troccoli is an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Eastern District of Virginia. His office represents indigent defendants charged with criminal offenses in federal court in Alexandria,Va.

Troccoli worked full time for more than four years on the defense of Zacarias Moussaoui, the "20th hijacker" in the 9/11 attacks. Troccoli has represented three other terrorism defendants, one of whom is currently detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.Troccoli will discuss  his role as an AFPD and his experiences with Moussaoui.
