Free Informational Seminar: What is this thing called DYSLEXIA?

Free informational seminar hosted by Mater Dei School and presented by The Summit School, an independent, not-for-profit school for children with dyslexia and similar learning differences.

What is this thing called DYSLEXIA is a fact-filled discussion on the history, diagnosis and defining differences, and plan of educational action for those with dyslexia by Summit School's Dr. Jane R. Snider and Dr. Joan Mele-McCarthy.  You will discuss:

  • What are the symptoms of dyslexia;
  • When is it appropriate to assess for learning differences;
  • What causes dyslexia;
  • What should an academic program include?

The presentation is free and open to the public, however, space is limited. Contact Julie L. Kizer Ball at 410-798-0005 ext. 158 or julie.kizerball@thesummitschool.org today to make your reservation.
