On May 6th at 10:25 am, Steve Livengood will present "L'Enfant, Washington DC, and Essential Dilemmas of Democracy," his review of the book, "Grand Avenues." Scott Berg is the author of the Pierre L'Enfant biography. Livengood, a member of the US Capitol Historical Society, will discuss government history and answer questions about how L'Enfant planned the city of Washington. Livengood's discussion will begin at 10:25 am at River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation, RRUUC, in Bethesda.
