BETHESDA, MD — Who says you can't enjoy ice cream in the winter?

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, the Ohio-born franchise with a cult following, will open its doors Thursday, Dec. 19 in Bethesda Row. And to celebrate, the shop is giving out free scoops and swag bags to the first 50 people in line. The grand opening celebration at 4918 Elm St. will start at 7 p.m. RSVP here.

The 1,135-square-foot scoop shop in Bethesda will sell crave-worthy classics like Brambleberry Crisp and Gooey Butter Cake, and dairy-free flavors like Roasted Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jam and Texas Sheet Cake.
