Generous Neighbors Donate to Student-Run Nonprofit
STEM4all, a local student-run nonprofit, raises $275 to aid its mission to raise STEM exposure.

STEM4all-Maryland, a student-run nonprofit organization and a school club at Walter Johnson High School, has been asking for assistance. Recently, they partnered with the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) to bring STEM education to the greater community. NCCF is a nonprofit organization in the Washington metropolitan area that serves more than 50,000 people. They aim to preserve childhood and the quality of life of homeless families, victims of domestic violence, and neglected children.
The 501(c)(3) will be bringing experiments to children at the NCCF Greentree Shelter in an event called STEM Fridays starting this month. The kids will explore different STEM fields and topics, opening up a new path for them. The organization wants to do its absolute best to show that STEM can be fun too. To make this possible, they need funding for experiment materials. Many of the experiments and topics they want to explore aren't possible due to financial constraints. The nonprofit thought that it wouldn't hurt to try to ask for help.
A contribution of any size can make a huge difference. For example, with $200 STEM4all-Maryland can buy 10 science kits to give to the children to build their own robots, confidence, and a brighter future themselves.
