The Joys of Art Learning

As the world slowly reawakens to the Fall weather, we say farewell to Summer and its hot sunny days by the beach while steadily adjusting to our new normal of resuming school and work life in the Fall season.

For the Fall, noted artist Vian Borchert will be offering three morning online art classes that will awaken the creativity within those art enthusiasts who always wanted to learn how to draw and paint. Borchert, an international acclaimed artist will guide the students step by step within these classes in projects especially designed for budding art students who are eager to learn the special skills needed to to create skilled artwork. In V. Borchert's Fall classes demos of all types from still life rendition to color theory, shapes, forms, lines and proportion are covered throughout the courses. Borchert's art classes not only educate the students but open their eyes to the artworld and all its multitudes of genres and art styles along with references to art history and master artists' work. Borchert will be teaching classes in watercolor painting, drawing and Mixed media in the Fall term.

Here are the 3 morning art classes offered to adults in the upcoming Fall season. The online classes are via Glen Echo Park's Yellow Barn Studio.

In this short YouTube video, artist and art instructor Vian Borchert gives the viewers an overview and a quick presentation of the demos the teacher does during class time for her art students.

Besides Borchert's Fall upcoming classes, currently the artist has some of her paintings on exhibit at the Glen Echo Park's Labor Day Art Exhibition held this Weekend in the historic Spanish Ballroom. Borchert's paintings such as "Sunset" pictured within this article is on view. Borchert's work is in the Glen Echo Instructor's display section of the exhibition. The show is from Saturday, September 4 through Monday, September 6, 2021 from 12pm to 6pm.
