UPDATE: Sketch Released of Suspect in Attempted Rape, Indecent Exposure
Montgomery County Police believe the same man exposed himself to a woman, and then tried to rape another in Silver Spring.

Montgomery County Police are on the lookout for a man suspected of exposing himself to one woman and trying to rape another in Silver Spring.

The attempted rape was reported at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday by a 20-year-old woman who had been walking in the 1400 block of Hampshire Court West. She was approached by a man, who attempted to solicit her for sex. When the woman refused, police say the suspect pushed the victim into a wall and assaulted her.
The victim was able to push the suspect away and attempted to flee. Police say the suspect forced the victim to the ground and attempted to rape her. But, the woman yelled and kicked the suspect off of her. He then fled the area.

Police released a composite sketch of the suspect on Friday afternoon. He is described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s to early 30s, 5’08” tall, and about 155 pounds. He has a round, clean-shaven face, very thin lips, and very light skin. He was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket with pockets on both sides and on the sleeves, darks jeans or dark sweat pants, and black sneakers.
Authorities believe the suspect had earlier approached a 36-year-old woman, attempted to solicit her for sex, and pulled down his pants, exposing his genitals to her.
