Montgomery Schools Change Tuesday Schedule
Montgomery County Public Schools are altering afternoon and evening plans March 3 because of weather.

Montgomery County Public Schools has cancelled all afternoon and evening activities for Tuesday, March 3, but schools will dismiss at normal times.
Area schools are calling off evening events as a winter weather advisory warns of snow and sleet into the evening.

The alert from the school system says:
Montgomery County Public Schools will close at the regularly scheduled time today. All school-sponsored afterschool and evening activities are CANCELED. Day care programs in school buildings will remain open as scheduled. Community use activities in school buildings will occur, as scheduled.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from noon until 10 p.m. Tuesday for most of Montgomery County, along with Anne Arundel, Carroll, Harford, Howard, and Prince George’s counties.
The Weather Service predicts up to half an inch of snow and sleet in the region, with less than one-tenth of an inch of ice.
