New Bethesda Restaurant Featuring Award-Winning Steak Opens

A new restaurant called Medium Rare opened on Fairmont Avenue Wednesday.

BETHESDA, MD — A new restaurant featuring award-winning steak, brunch, desserts, drinks and more opened this week in Bethesda. Medium Rare opened it's doors at 4904 Fairmont Ave. 5 p.m. Wednesday, Bethesda Magazine reports.

Medium Rare has two other locations in DC. The Bethesda location will hold 114 people and serve the same menu as the DC locations.

For $20.95, diners can enjoy a prix fixe menu for dinner including artisan rustic bread, mixed green salad, their award-winning Culotte steak and hand-cut friends with secret sauce.

Customers can top off their dinners with a variety of desserts, such as grandma's apple pie, a double chocolate fudge three layer cake and a six layer carrot cake.

Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday. For $25, diners can order bottomless Bloody Marys, screwdrivers, mimosas, coffee and fresh orange juice. Entrées include steak frites, steak and eggs, eggs benedict and more.

Check out Medium Rare from 5-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
