• Kusshi Sushi's Germantown Location Moves Forward With New Permit (mocoshow.com) — Kusshi Sushi is moving ahead with its long-planned Germantown restaurant, while also preparing a second Bethesda location at 4611 Sangamore Road in the former Passion Fin space. The growing brand, which started in North Bethesda and already operates in Bethesda, Rockville, and Silver Spring, hasn't announced opening dates yet but signals more local dining options are on the way.
   

• $44 Million for Montgomery County Transit Included in Maryland's Six-Year Transportation Plan (mocoshow.com) — Montgomery County is slated to receive $44 million to support local transit operations, plus new funding for bike, pedestrian, trail, and aviation projects that will affect daily travel. The nearly complete Purple Line, running between Bethesda and New Carrollton, was highlighted as 92% finished, underscoring how soon Bethesda riders may gain a major new rail connection.
