Police Arrest Three in Homicide: Nearby News

Montgomery County Police have arrested two women and a man in the murder of a man from the Layhill area of Silver Spring.

Three people were arrested Wednesday in the death of a man in the Layhill section of Silver Spring, according to a tweet from Montgomery County Police.

Latoya Renell Morgan, 33, Samantha Carol Parker, 26, and Dion Ramon Sobotker, 32, are charged with first-degree murder and robbery in the death of Jonathan Edward Terril Harris, reports Montgomery Community Media.

As Patch earlier reported, detectives were called Dec. 6 to the 2300 block of Eagle Rock Place for a report of a burglary with a man injured. Officers found Jonathan Edward Terril Harris, 26, dead inside the residence with obvious trauma to the top portion of his body.

The victim was found by his mother, who also lives at that address, police say. The woman then called police.
