Police Out of Leads in Bethesda Bike Thefts
Detectives hope the public can identify a suspect in a Woodmont Avenue theft. There have been a string of bike thefts in recent months.

Montgomery County Police say they’ve run out of leads in a string of bicycle thefts and need the public’s help to identify a suspect caught on camera.
Over the past few months, several bicycle thefts have been reported from numerous apartment buildings in Bethesda. It is unknown how many of these thefts are related, police say.
On Oct. 30, surveillance video captured a suspect described as a black man, 5’4” to 5’7” tall, wearing blue jeans and a white jacket with black and white sleeves, allegedly stealing a bicycle in the 7100 block of Woodmont Avenue.
