Police to Stop Drivers at Sobriety Checkpoint Friday Night

Montgomery County Police will set up a sobriety checkpoint this Friday evening, Feb. 13.

If you plan to go out for drinks Friday night, line up a sober driver to get you safely home, or risk jail time.

The Montgomery County Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, Feb. 13, from 10:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturday.

The department says the enforcement is part of its continuing effort to curb impaired driving and underage drinking.

The exact location of the checkpoint will not be disclosed in advance. The checkpoint times are approximate and the checkpoint will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.
