Scholarship Opportunity for High School Juniors and Seniors

The Museum of American Finance is inviting high school juniors and seniors to participate in the Museum Finance Academy (MFA), a FREE five (5) week summer internship on personal finance beginning April 18. High school students will learn the basics of personal finance leading to financial independence: how to set financial goals; develop an appreciation of savings; and how to avoid scams. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate. Top students will be awarded a partial college scholarship of $500 to $1,000.

The Museum of American Finance is an independent museum devoted to preserving, exhibiting, and teaching American finance and financial history, located in the Wall Street District. Since the MFA is virtual, a feature of the course is a virtual walking tour of the Financial District. Course participants will be able to serve as a future tour guide for parents, relatives, and friends on the next trip to New York City.
