Taste Of Bethesda To Return With Food, Beer, Entertainment

The Taste of Bethesda is returning to Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle on Saturday, Oct. 1 after getting canceled the past two years.

BETHESDA, MD — The Taste of Bethesda is returning to Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle on Saturday, Oct. 1 after getting canceled the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s festival, the 31st annual, will feature Bethesda restaurants, five stages of live entertainment and an activity area for children.

The festival usually attracts around 45,000 people, according to the Bethesda Urban Partnership, the organizer of the event.

Admission to the Taste of Bethesda is free. Taste tickets are sold on-site in bundles of four tickets for $5. Food servings cost one to four tickets. Restaurants serve dishes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ticket sales end at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 1.

The event is held along Norfolk, St. Elmo, Cordell, Del Ray and Auburn Avenues in Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle. The festival is located three blocks from the Bethesda Metro.

The entertainment schedule is:

Auburn Stage

  • 11 a.m.: Furia Flamenca
  • Noon: Soul in Motion
  • 1 p.m.: Culkin School of Irish Dance

Cordell Stage

  • 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: 8 Ohms Band
  • 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Black Masala

Norfolk Stage

  • 11:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.: Patrick Alban & Noche Latina
  • 1:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.: Carly Harvey

St. Elmo Stage

  • 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.: Jay Byrd & The Musical Trust
  • 1:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.: Wes Tucker & The Skillets

Veterans Park

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Sara Jones
