Video: Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School's Winter Athletic Awards Night

Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School hosted an awards night recognizing student's athletic achievements.

On Monday, March 14, Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School hosted its annual Winter Athletic Awards Night to recognize the athletic achievements of the winter sports season.

B-CC Athletic Director Suzette Thom stressed the importance of celebrating athletic achievement on the court along with academic achievement inside the classroom.

The stars of the night included the Pompons squad which placed first at the MCPS Divisional Championship and the BCC Bocce ball team, a program with Special Olympics of Maryland, who in their first year made it to the state championship.
