Virginia Tech Alumni Association announces the 24th Annual National Capital Region Chapter Career Showcase

Falls Church, Va. — Registration is officially open for the Virginia Tech National Capital Region’s 24th Annual Career Showcase (formerly the Job Fair) on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. This year’s Career Showcase will be held in Falls Church, Va., conveniently located adjacent to the West Falls Church Metro Station.

If you are looking for a new career opportunity, professional stability, or are new to the job market, don’t miss the 24th Annual National Capital Region Job Fair sponsored by the Virginia Tech Alumni Association. Our fair welcomes all individuals interested in finding a new career, including Virginia Tech students and alumni. The Career Showcase is not just for Virginia Tech alumni but is open to the public and admission is free for applicants. You must register for the Career Showcase. If you cannot attend the Job Fair, but would still like to submit your resume, simply choose “Not Attending” from the ticket registration options. Registration ends on Monday, March 9th.

More than 60 professional and high tech companies from Virginia, Maryland and D.C. will be recruiting for all levels and disciplines. Past companies that have participated in the Career Showcase include the Children’s National Medical Center, Deloitte, Hewlett Packard, Navy Federal Credit Union, and Virginia Tech. The Career Showcase is conveniently located at the Northern Virginia Grad Center in Falls Church VA, adjacent to the West Falls Church Metro station. Parking is limited, so it is highly recommended that participants use the METRO for transportation (Orange Line).

The Virginia Tech Alumni Association’s National Capital Region Chapter is a nonprofit organization that supports local Virginia Tech Alumni with events, networking and fundraising throughout the year. Any monies raised at these events goes to support the NCR Chapter’s scholarship fund. Over the past 12 years, through the hard work of local Virginia Tech Alumni, the chapter has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarship money for Virginia Tech students.
