Weekend Drivers Urged to Cross Bay Bridge at Off-Peak Hours
State highway officials expect heavy traffic on the Bay Bridge as Maryland residents head to Springfest in Ocean City.

Drivers are being urged to cross the Bay Bridge at off hours this weekend with high traffic volumes expected May 7-10 because of Springfest in Ocean City, MD.
The Maryland Transportation Authority will monitor traffic conditions throughout the weekend and, weather permitting, implement two-way operations (when one lane of eastbound traffic travels on the westbound span) on the westbound span to help alleviate potential eastbound delays.
