Westfield Montgomery Lauds Diversity With Culture Fest
The family-friendly exhibit will spotlight aspects of culture from Korea, China, El Salvador, Ethiopia and India.

BETHESDA, MD — Westfield Montgomery is shining a light on cultural diversity in Bethesda with Culture Fest, a nearly month-long exhibit that spotlights unique aspects of culture in Korea, China, El Salvador, Ethiopia and India.
The family-friendly exhibit will inspire multicultural appreciation and understanding by spotlighting the cultures that represent Montgomery County’s vibrant diversity. Adults and children of all ages are invited to experience these various cultures by participating in a wide variety of hands-on activities, including traditional dance classes and performances, craft-making, artistic performances, live music and much more.
Programming and activities will be hosted in partnership with the local Chinese Culture and Community Service Center, KaribFit and Classical Oasis.

“Culture Fest celebrates the incredible diversity of our Greater Metropolitan Area,” said Matt Barry, Westfield Montgomery’s General Manager. “We hope to be the place that brings the local community together through artful attractions and multicultural experiences, all of which leave our guests and residents feeling entertained and inspired.”
Westfield Montgomery retailers are also hosting pop-up shops in the exhibit space. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in Chakra readings by Alex & Ani and savor Asian inspired cuisine presented by Crave Sushi Bar, all while enjoying cultural activities and programming.
