Hundreds of protests were held in every state in the country, with demonstrations in most major U.S. cities, as well as in Canada and Mexico. Protests are designed to be a peaceful day of action, according to the No Kings website.

The day of nationwide action will be held amid Trump's military actions against Iran, which have doubled concerns among the public about a worsening U.S. economy and standard of living.
