Woman Dies After Falling Into A Boat In Georgetown: DC EMS
A woman, who fell into a boat in Georgetown late Wednesday night, has died.
GEORGETOWN, DC — A woman has died after falling into a boat that was moored near the shore in Georgetown, D.C. Fire and EMS said.
It happened late Wednesday night near the Key Bridge. According to officials, the woman fell from a high point, but not from the bridge. It is unclear how she fell.
A fireboat found her on the boat, suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died.
