Worker Dies After Getting Shocked At Bethesda Construction Site
A construction worker died Tuesday after he was electrocuted and fell into a trench in Bethesda.

BETHESDA, MD — A construction worker died after getting electrocuted and falling into a trench in Bethesda on Tuesday, authorities said.
At about 12:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to the construction site at Wilmet Road and Ewing Drive to rescue the worker, according to fire department spokesman Pete Piringer.
Piringer said the worker was electrocuted when an articulating boom he was operating likely came in contact with an overhead power line. The man, who was working on an unfinished home, then fell into an 8-foot-deep foundation at the construction site.
