2 Arrests Made In 16-Year-Old's Fatal Shooting, PGPD Searches For More Suspects
Two suspects have been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old. PGPD is searching for additional suspects.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Two suspects have been charged in connection to the fatal shooting that happened in Suitland June 27, police say.
On June 27 at approximately 6:40 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 4700 block of Towne Park Road for a report of a shooting. Juan Roach, 16, of Suitland was found outside with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.
The preliminary investigation indicates Roach was shot during a robbery. Walter Plummer, 21, of Suitland and 21-year-old Akiya Bagley of Washington, D.C., has been arrested. Plummer has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges. Bagley has been charged with assault, accessory after the fact and additional charges. They both are being held on a no-bond status. Investigators are working to arrest additional suspects, the police department stated.
