2 Men Pursued By MPD Into Landover Charged With Firearms Offenses: Prince George's Police

Two men chased by Metropolitan police officers into Landover were arrested and charged with firearms offenses, PGPD reports.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Two men have been arrested and charged with firearms offenses, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.

On May 20 at approximately 12:40 p.m., the Metropolitan Police Department notified Prince George's Police that its officers were involved in an active pursuit of shooting suspects. The suspects crashed their car in the area of Kent Town Place and Route 202 in Landover. Officers arrested them at the crash scene. A gun was recovered nearby, the police department reported.

The Prince George’s County Police Department charged 21-year-old Rasheed Thorne of no fixed address and 21-year-old William Walker IV of no fixed address with two firearms offenses. Anyone with information about this case who would like to speak to a detective can call 301-516-2512.
