2 Men Shot Inside Vehicles In Separate Cases, One Crashes Into House: Police

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Detectives are investigating two separate deadly shootings that happened over the weekend and Thursday.

Anthony Thomas III, 28, of Capitol Heights was shot inside his vehicle Saturday at approximately 1 a.m. He had been shot several times and was pronounced dead on the scene. The shooting occurred in the 4400 block of Rena Road.

Detectives also are searching for the shooter of 20-year-old Blake White of Accokeek. White was shot in his car Thursday shortly before 6:30 p.m. and crashed into a home along Grayden Lane. White died of his injuries Friday.

Officers have arrested 56-year-old Ernest Lee Miller of no fixed address in the stabbing death of 32-year-old Reco Tyson of District Heights. That incident occurred Dec. 15 shortly before 10 p.m. in the 6600 block of District Heights Parkway. Miller has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
