3 Suspects Sought In Assault, Theft Of Items From Man: University Of Maryland Police

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Police are searching for three suspects who are believed to have assaulted and stole from a man in an apartment building Jan. 28 around 2:40 a.m.

Campus police were called to the 8200 block of Baltimore Avenue Sunday after being notified of the off-campus theft. The victim told police that he was leaving an elevator inside the apartment building when a man and two women approached him. They demanded the victim let them use the elevator, but the victim said he didn't have access to it. The suspects then assaulted the man and took his belongings. The victim was able to break free, left the area and called police. He sustained minor injuries in the assault, according to the police department.
