4 Strangers Attempt To Abduct Newborn From Its Stroller During Walk With Mom: Police
Four strangers attempted to abduct a newborn from its stroller while the baby and its mother were out for a walk Thursday, police say.
GREENBELT, MD—Around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, a mom called police to report a stranger who attempted to abduct her newborn from its stroller while they were walking in the 9100 block of Edmonston Rd. in Greenbelt.
When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with the mother who said that two dark-colored vehicles pulled up alongside her. A tall female with braids, along with three other suspects, got out of the vehicle and attempted to take the child. The victim grabbed her baby and ran while being punched repeatedly by the suspects. They eventually took off, the Greenbelt Police Department reported.
