6 Adults, 1 Child Displaced In 2 House Fires

Two house fires broke out in two days' time in Fort Washington and Clinton, displacing six adults and one child.

A home caught on fire Friday around 7:04 p.m. in the 3300 block of Marston Drive in Fort Washington. Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting through the roof of the two-story single family home. Four adults were displaced.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Two homes caught on fire over a two-day span with a total of seven people displaced.

A home caught on fire Friday around 7:04 p.m. in the 3300 block of Marston Drive in Fort Washington. Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting through the roof of the two-story single family home. Four adults were displaced and investigators arrived to check out the cause, the fire department reported.

Another home caught on fire Thursday around 2:19 p.m. in the 5700 block of Boniwood Turn Road in Clinton. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find flames reaching out of the back of the two-story row home and extending to the attic. Two adults and one child were displaced and investigators arrived at the scene to search for the cause, the department reported.
