77-Year-Old Man Fatally Hit By Passing Car: Prince George's Police
A 77-year-old Fort Washington man has been fatally hit by a passing car, reports the Prince George's County Police Department.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 77-year-old Fort Washington man has died after police say he was hit by a passing vehicle.
On Oct. 19 around 7 a.m., officers were called to the 6800 block of Bock Road. A preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a sedan was traveling southbound on Bock Road when the driver hit the pedestrian who was in the roadway. Later identified as Foday Salim, the victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver did remain on the scene, according to police.
