Akron Completes Sweep of Baysox
Aeros score 4-1 win Wednesday afternoon, finish three-game sweep

The Bowie offense couldn't get going again, and Akron finished off a three-game sweep with a 4-1 victory over the Baysox Wednesday afternoon.
Bowie's only run came when Greg Miclat scored on a fourth-inning passed ball, and the Baysox finished with just four hits, not giving starter Zach Clark (5-7) much support.
Akron scored twice in the first and twice more in the fifth, and that was enough for the victory.

Bowie had its chances. The Baysox went just 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position and stranded seven, the same problem they've battled all year long.
The loss dropped Bowie to 37-39 on the season.
