Apartment Complex Evacuated In Suitland, Major Damage From Wind
The windstorm caused the collapse of a brick wall and forced the evacuation of more than 100 residents.

SUITLAND, MD -- Residents of an apartment building in Suitland have been evacuated after Friday's windstorm caused extensive damage and the collapse of a brick wall.
Prince George's County Fire and Rescue crews were on the scene Friday afternoon at Andrew Ridge apartment complex, a three-story building in the 5600 block of Regency Park Ct., according to PG Fire spokesman Mark Brady.
Officials evacuated five apartment buildings and more than 100 residents were displaced as a result. Firefighters reported a partial collapse of a brick wall on the side of a building.
