Arrest Made in Drug-Related Homicide: Police
Prince George's County Police say an Upper Marlboro woman fatally shot a man Saturday; she was arrested Wednesday.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — A woman has been charged with first-degree murder for fatally shooting a man Saturday in what the Prince George’s County Police Department is a drug-related killing in Capitol Heights.
Markena Townsend, 32, of the 10200 block of Prince Place in Upper Marlboro was arrested Wednesday.
She is charged in the death of 45-year-old Gilbert Hall III, who was found outside in the 300 block of Addison Road South suffering from a gunshot wound. He died a short time later at a hospital.

The preliminary investigation reveals the shooting was drug-related. Townsend is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
