ATV Driver Killed, Passenger Critically Injured In Collision With Pickup: PGPD
The driver of an ATV has died and his passenger critically injured when the ATV collided with a pickup truck, according to police.
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal collision involving an ATV and a pickup truck.
The incident happened June 17 around 10 p.m. in the 7500 block of Walker Mill Road. Prince George's police officers arrived to find 29-year-old Ronald Hayes, Jr. of Upper Marlboro with critical injuries. He was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later, police said. A woman who was a passenger on the ATV experienced critical injuries.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the ATV and a pickup truck collided in the eastbound lane of Walker Mill Road. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.
