Baysox Fall to Akron, 4-2

Bowie loses to Aeros for second consecutive night.

The Baysox couldn't hold an early lead in Akron for the second straight night and dropped a 4-2 decision to Aeros on Tuesday.

Bowie got RBI singles from L.J. Hoes and Greg Miclat in the third to take a 2-1 lead. But Akron tied the game in the fifth and won it with two runs in the bottom of the eighth.

The Aeros scored those runs off of Eddie Gamboa (1-3), making his first appearance since April 30 after spending almost two months on the Disabled List.

Kyle Bellows broke the tie with an RBI triple, and he scored when Nick Weglarz followed with a single. That gave the Aeros some insurance and dropped Bowie's record to 37-38.
