Harrisburg tops Bowie, 2-0, in game stopped during bottom of sixth.

Harrisburg beat Bowie, 2-0, in a rain-shortened Eastern League game on Friday night.

The Senators got a pair of solo homers to ruin a good pitching performance from Rick Zagone (1-4), who went the distance—5 1/3 innings before the game was stopped with one out in the bottom of the sixth.

There were two rain delays for a total of 81 minutes before the first game of this five-game series in Harrisburg was called.

The loss dropped Bowie to 24-24 on the season, tied for second in the Western Division, two games behind front-running Harrisburg. The Senators are the only team in the division with a winning record.
