Baysox Split Two With Akron
Bowie wins first game, 6-4, before dropping 1-0 decision in nightcap
Bowie split a twin-bill in Akron Tuesday night, taking the opener from the Aeros before losing in the nightcap.
The Baysox won the first game, 6-4. Robbie Widlansky's three-run homer in the top of the first gave Bowie a lead it wouldn't lose. Pedro Florimon also drove in two runs in the victory.
Zach Clark (2-1) gave Bowie another good start by giving up just one run on five hits in the seven inning game.

Wynn Pelzer (1-1) did just as well in the second game, allowing only one run on six hits in five innings, but it wasn't enough. He gave up the game's only run on a two-out single in the fifth.<p>
Pelzer now has an ERA of just 0.95 this season. The Baysox now have a record of 9-9.
