Bowie Apartment Fire Displaces Residents: Official
A Monday afternoon apartment fire in Bowie has displaced numerous residents. One woman was evaluated at the hospital, officials said.
BOWIE, MD — Three apartment residents had to be rescued from their balconies when a fire broke out in their building Monday afternoon and a woman was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Numerous residents also have been displaced because of the fire and are being helped by the Prince George's County Office of Emergency Management.
Firefighters were called to the building located in the 15600 block of Everglade Lane around 1:07 p.m. They found flames shooting through the roof of the building and a second alarm was sounded.
