Bowie Baysox Host Blood Drive
The Valentine's Day themed game will collect blood donations in support of local charity Mended Little Hearts.
Love will be in the air on Aug. 14 at Prince George’s Stadium when the will host their Half-Way to Valentine’s Day Celebration, complete with .
starting at 6:05 p.m., but fans can show up as early as 2 p.m. to give blood at the American Red Cross Blood Mobile.
The first 14 blood donors will receive a free general admission ticket to the game that night, according to a press release.

“Mended Little Hearts in a great organization and we think a blood drive on their behalf is a great way to support their work,” Baysox Marketing Director Brandan Kaiser said in statement.
The Blood Mobile will be parked at Prince George’s Stadium from 2-8 p.m. Fans can call 1-800-RED-CROSS to schedule an appointment to donate, but walk-ins also will be welcome.

All donors will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win autographed Baysox swag.
The game also will feature Valentine-themed promotions and activities on the field.
