Bowie City Hall Closed Because of Plumbing Problems
Bowie offices at City Hall closed early Thursday; officials expect to open as normal on Friday.

Due to a plumbing problem at Bowie City Hall, city offices there closed at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
All other City facilities are open normal hours. Trash and recycling pickup is not affected by the closure of City Hall.

City Spokeswoman Una Cooper says most employees have been sent home, but the main number at City Hall is still being answered.
City officials expect the problem to be fixed later today and to open on time Friday.
